According to the 2007 AORN survey, the largest unmet need for surgical repair companies is delivering in-services and education. Further, while more healthcare facilities are moving towards mandatory certification in SPD departments, InstruMedics can provide tools necessary to reach and maintain such goals.
Certification Courses: Using material such as power point slides and text books to cover valuable information needed to pass either the CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification test.
Orientation Class: More in depth class training than the Certification Course. Hands on training 4-6 weeks custom tailored to meet the needs of new staff hired into the Central Service arena.
Process Improvement: Evaluate and observe departmental processes and offer suggestions on areas needed for improved efficiency and work flow.
In-service Programs: Accredited CEU programs on care and handling that focus on ways of decreasing damage and repairs to your surgical instrument and equipment assets.
