Rigid Endoscopes
InstruMedics offers a capitated repair service program for rigid telescopes unlike most (if not all) in the repair service industry.  Initially our technical team completes an on-location, rigid scope total inventory and inspection/evaluation, inspecting each scope and listing it while noting its present condition or repair need.  

Our capitated program is an “up to” a maximum dollar amount [or less] per repair event once a scope has been refurbished to OEM specs (by us).  Financial exposure during the program is a capped dollar amount per event (or less) per scope unless the scope has been severely damaged through abuse or mishandled based on our technical evaluation and inspection. 

Each service is accompanied by a “Service Data Report” measuring incoming and returning- optics performance, image quality, and fiber data, tracking by serial number. This data remains on file for the life of each scope.  Premium service work completed by us on any rigid scope is guaranteed for twelve months – exceptions may apply.

Inspection / Evaluation Service - As the initial step when we begin a new rigid or flexible scope service, Teleflex Medical Repair will complete a thorough Inventory/ Inspection/Evaluation of all the subject equipment documenting current condition and recommend a service plan on a per scope basis while prioritizing needs for service as part of the program at no additional charge to the hospital as long as InstruMedics LLC is awarded the work.

Fiberoptic Cables – can either be rebuilt, refurbished, and/or replaced through a consigned inventory housed right at the hospital; in effect swapping out a damaged cable for a new or rebuilt cable for instant replacement service; -one element of our repair / exchange program.

InstruMedics also routinely demonstrates capabilities to repair up to 80% of instruments typically tagged “beyond repair” by other repair service providers.
