We are committed to “raising the bar” in every aspect of our repair business.
On all equipment we repair, we are committed to superior quality standards that result in impeccable equipment performance.
Power Equipment:
Power equipment is a major financial investment for a facility, therefore proper maintenance and care is essential in order to maximize return on such an investment.
Overall, the most common cause of power equipment failure is improper cleaning and lubrication. In order to maintain pneumatic and electric power equipment performance, implementing a regular six month maintenance service is highly recommended. In-service training on proper re-process techniques is key to preventing avoidable mishandling disasters. InstruMedics is able to provide in-service training as well as repair or replace damaged pneumatic, battery and electric power equipment.
Fiberoptic Cables:
The majority of failures to fiberoptic cables are broken, damaged, or overheated light fibers. Fiberoptic light cables should be routinely examined for damaged housing and connectors, and/or yellowed light. InstruMedics can either rebuild, refurbish, and/or replace fiberoptic cables at significant savings over brand name manufacturers.
Phaco Hand Pieces:
As a general rule, a phaco handpiece will break down after approximately 500 procedures. The majority of phaco hand piece problems involve cracked crystals, broken tips, and dents in the outer sheath. The primary causes of failure are sterilization, rapid temperature changes, and mishandling.
InstruMedics is able to repair and replace damaged components of phaco hand pieces. The repair process is a complete refurbishing of the handpiece including disassembly, cable replacement, ceramic crystal replacement, resealing and finally comprehensive quality testing.
