A. For standard repairs InstruMedics, LLC strives to maintain a 24-48 turn around time. Instruments that require extensive repair or parts may exceed that time; all customers are advised of any delays.
Q. Does InstruMedics, LLC warranty their repairs?
A. All work done by InstruMedics, LLC is warranted for no less than 30 days.
Q. How often should instruments sent in for service?
A. As a courtesy InstruMedics, LLC offers an evaluation service. Depending on the size of your facility, the volume of procedures, types of procedures, etc. we can make a schedule recommendation for your instruments.
Q. Repair vs. Replace how do I decide which is more appropriate?
A. InstruMedics, LLC technicians are trained to detect when an instruments is beyond its economical, functional life. Each instrument is evaluated and function tested.

The technician is able to determine if it is safe and economical to repair the instrument. In most cases InstruMedics, LLC is able to significantly extend the functional life of the instrument.

If the technician deems the instrument damaged or worn beyond repair, a recommendation to replace the instrument will be made.
Q. Can you make instruments laser safe?
A. Yes, using a silicon carbide surface treatment to dull the finish, similar to but more economical than ebonizing, InstruMedics, LLC can return your stainless steel instruments to you laser safe.
