As InstruMedics LLC, it is our responsibility to drive the best custom repair solution to meet the demands, needs, and requirements of your facility.  In consultation with key personnel, an InSite- the unique combination of services, skilled technician(s), equipment and other resources required to meet the hospital’s needs and requirements will be the heart of the ‘Custom Repair Solution’.

The InSite functions as the “Center of Activity” to meet and exceed the desires of the facility.  As demand evolves and is identified, it is InstruMedic’s responsibility to continuously evaluate and adjust if necessary to meet the maintenance and repair need and possibly expand service offerings as our capabilities expand and our customers’ desire to consolidate points of contact (reduce vendors) while taking advantage of services and savings inherent with our broad combination of services.  In general terms, better than 90% of all repairs can be completed within the InSite lab relative to stainless steel instrumentation.

Consignment program(s) - a consigned inventory of surgical instruments, [to immediately replace common patterns that are tagged beyond repair so that surgical sets are kept in service and back-up inventories might be reduced]; other possibilities could include fiber optic light cable and/or air hose inventory to swap out damaged cables and hoses for instant replacement.  In effect ‘no charge’ until they are put into service; refurbished replacements are less expensive than new but equally capable and OEM spec matched.

Leasing services -
possibilities to lease instrumentation or equipment and pay on a per procedure basis; or pay per procedure to maintain/repair only, on certain services (i.e. laparoscopic sets)-  Hospital personnel would process sets and set-up for the OR, InstruMedics would inspect, maintain, and possibly replace instruments or have a complete set available to loan while a set is “out” for service.

Flat Rate Pricing -
Since we capture the costs associated with servicing sets of instruments within our custom, proprietary software called SIMART, once we have serviced 80% of active inventory of surgical sets, InstruMedics would be in a position to possibly offer flat rate pricing (based on historical facts of actual service performed) to help plan and budget repair expenditures, flat line repair expenses, plan for replacement purchases, and other advantages to capturing those data.

Reduced points of contact - Given that InstruMedics LLC demonstrates extensive repair capabilities, the opportunity to reduce points of contact (number of vendors) exists to simplify the repair and maintenance process.  The greater the number of services and the greater the depth and breadth of our repairs, InstruMedics can show savings indirectly and directly especially compared to OEM repair programs and prices.

Multiple Service Rebate Program -
Simply put, the greater the depth and breadth of maintenance and repair services a hospital contracts for with InstruMedics LLC, the greater the rebate.  Details and terms to be discussed in person.

Repair / Exchange -
InstruMedics enjoys world-wide reach of refurbished surgical equipment such that an option within our Repair / Exchange program allows us to secure and replace certain surgical instrumentation or equipment that may no longer be in production through the OEM, but is available through another source.  Typically the equipment has been refurbished to meet OEM specifications and can be made available in exchange for the ‘like’ or identical (but no longer serviceable item) at a fraction of the OEM’s new model price, while meeting the surgeons’ requirements or needs as well as budget constraints.

In-service training is made available on a scheduled basis.  Programs such as but not limited to: Care and Handling of instruments, scopes and other equipment; Damage recognition and others.

Inspection / Evaluation Service -  As the initial step when we begin a new rigid or flexible scope service, Teleflex Medical Repair will complete a thorough Inventory/ Inspection/Evaluation of all the subject equipment documenting current condition and recommend a service plan on a per scope basis while prioritizing needs for service as part of the program at no additional charge to the hospital as long as InstruMedics LLC is awarded the work.

InstruMedics LLC is BRAND NEUTRAL  such that we service and maintain all specialties, and all brands of surgical instrumentation and equipment, potentially reducing the number of “contacts” required to manage and maintain your surgical assets.  Additionally, surgeons can have confidence their preferred brand(s) of instrumentation and equipment are in the best working condition relative to fit, form, and function as the manufacturer intends.
